The KEF T2 powered subwoofer adds a dedicated bass channel to a compact audio installation. Its sealed cabinet combines a 250 mm bass driver with a built-in 250W Class D amplifier, providing an integrated solution for low-frequency reproduction. The enclosure is only 177 mm deep, allowing its physical position to be considered alongside furniture and the main loudspeakers.

The specified operating range is 30 Hz to 250 Hz, with a maximum output of 110 dB. These figures describe the subwoofer's contribution beneath the main speaker range and provide useful reference points when choosing a system layout. The sealed construction keeps the acoustic arrangement self-contained, while the internal amplifier supplies the power required by the bass driver.

An RCA phono input connects the T2 to an appropriate subwoofer output. Its fixed second-order low-pass filter operates at 250 Hz, so system integration should be considered together with the bass management available in the connected equipment. This is a defined filter setting rather than a continuously adjustable crossover control.
