Klipsch The Fives II Powered Speaker Pair – Red Oak
The Klipsch The Fives II Red Oak combines a powered stereo monitor system with a distinctive light-coloured front. Genuine Red Oak veneer surrounds a white baffle, complemented by light-grey removable grilles. Integrated Onkyo electronics bring amplification and audio processing into the speaker pair for a compact music and television installation.
The acoustic system pairs a 5.25-inch Jet Cerametallic woofer with a 1-inch titanium LTS vented tweeter and Tractrix horn in each enclosure. A one-piece BMC baffle provides a rigid mounting surface to help reduce resonance. The cabinet uses a rear-firing bass-reflex port, with a specified frequency response of 50 Hz to 25 kHz.
HDMI 2.1 input and eARC output connect compatible entertainment devices and a television through the speaker system. Supported passthrough features include HDR formats, variable refresh rate and automatic low latency mode. Dolby Atmos processing creates virtual height channels, providing an immersive listening option from the stereo pair for supported content.
Wireless and network choices include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Built-in services support Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect. RCA phono input includes a phono stage, while the separate analogue, optical digital and USB-C audio inputs accommodate other music sources and computer playback.
A cable joins the primary and secondary speakers, and the system provides an RCA output for a compatible powered subwoofer. A metal volume wheel and source button offer direct control, supported by a backlit remote and mobile app integration. Listening modes, dialogue enhancement and a five-band equalizer give additional ways to tailor sound for different programmes.
