RCF CMR 30 Full-Range Ceiling Speaker Pair
The RCF CMR 30 is a pair of compact full-range ceiling monitor speakers intended for background music and intelligible speech. The aluminium body and discreet installation format suit retail spaces, meeting rooms and similar interiors where the loudspeaker should integrate neatly into the ceiling. Both black and white magnetic grille finishes are supplied.
Each speaker uses a 2.5-inch neodymium full-range transducer with a passive radiator to reinforce low-frequency reproduction. The specified frequency response extends from 70 Hz to 20 kHz at the stated minus 10 dB limits. This compact acoustic arrangement supports music playback and voice reproduction from a small ceiling-mounted enclosure.
Power handling is specified at 15 W RMS with 60 W peak capability and a nominal impedance of 16 ohms. Maximum sound pressure level is 104 dB at one metre, with system sensitivity of 86 dB. These figures help the system designer select the amplifier arrangement and plan suitable loudspeaker positions for the listening area.
Two clamps secure the speaker in the ceiling, and the stainless-steel magnetic grille provides a clean finish around the visible face. The enclosure diameter is 109 mm, with an 86 mm cutout and a 61 mm recessed depth. These dimensions give clear reference points when preparing the opening and checking ceiling space.
Push-type input and output terminals provide the electrical connection. RCF recommends the KPS and DMA amplifier series for compatible systems. Choose the grille finish to coordinate with the interior and plan the amplifier load around the loudspeaker impedance. The compact body, passive radiator and straightforward mounting arrangement make CMR 30 a practical option for discreet installed sound.
