Description
RCF AP1 Single Amplifier Rack Panel
The RCF AP1 is a connection panel for a single amplifier installed in a compatible three-unit touring rack. It brings speaker outputs, audio inputs, Ethernet-based networking and the high-current power connection to the front of the rack. The panel itself occupies one rack unit.
The front interface combines a P-COM eight-pin connection with four NL4 connectors for amplifier outputs. Four female XLR sockets serve analog and AES/EBU inputs, while three EtherCON feed-through connections provide control and audio networking access. A thirty-two-ampere power connector completes the front-panel connection group. The panel groups the specified physical connections in the rack space identified for this model.
The panel places the compatible connection groups at an accessible rack interface while the rear cables serve the corresponding internal equipment. Planning the rack around these front and rear connections helps keep each cable associated with its intended device. The connector formats and signal roles should be considered together when preparing the complete rack layout.
Its rackmount format is intended for integration with the associated professional audio equipment. Reserve the specified panel space and allow access to the rear cable connections when arranging the rack. The panel provides a physical patching interface, while the connected amplifier and other devices determine the operating functions available in the complete system.
For deployment, identify the audio, speaker, control and power connections that are relevant to the selected configuration and follow the corresponding system instructions. Keep the exact panel model in the rack equipment schedule. This makes its intended connection arrangement clear when related racks use different amplifier counts, network interfaces or external patching requirements.
