Built-in sensors detect the speaker’s orientation and automatically apply Auto EQ, adjusting the sound for optimal performance whether the S1 Pro+ is placed vertically, tilted back, laid horizontally, or mounted on a standard 35mm speaker stand as a monitor wedge or elevated PA. This multi-position flexibility lets a single unit serve as both a performer’s monitor and the audience-facing PA depending on how it is set down.

A full-featured 3-channel mixer with reverb offers two combo XLR/quarter-inch inputs for microphones or instruments, a quarter-inch aux input, a 3.5mm stereo input, and Bluetooth streaming for audio from up to 30 feet away. Onboard ToneMatch processing enhances vocal and instrument tone automatically, with independent EQ, reverb and ToneMatch preset controls per channel shown on rotating OLED displays that reorient with the speaker’s position.

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 11 hours of playtime at moderate volume, or around 5 hours at full performance volume, and can be swapped for a spare for extended use without needing to plug into AC power. Optional wireless mic and instrument transmitters store and charge inside the enclosure itself, and the Bose Music app provides full wireless mixing control, ToneMatch presets and Bluetooth management from a phone.
