Description
BSS Soundweb London Analog Input Card analog input card
The Soundweb London Analog Input Card is designed to populate any of the four card slots on Soundweb London chassis such as the BLU-800, BLU-805, BLU-806, BLU-320, BLU-325, BLU-326, BLU-160, BLU-120, BLU-80, BLU-32, and BLU-16, giving system integrators a modular way to configure the exact I/O mix required for a given installation.
The Analog Input Card enables Soundweb London devices to receive microphone or line-level audio signals, offering phantom power configurable per channel and software-controlled analog gain in 6 dB steps from 0 dB to 48 dB, giving installers precise control over input sensitivity for a wide range of microphone and line sources.
Low-noise circuitry throughout the input stage keeps the noise floor below -128 dBu, ensuring clean digital audio capture even at high gain settings. Balanced and unbalanced sources can both be integrated easily, and selectable 48V phantom power allows condenser microphones to be used directly for studio-quality sound capture within an installed sound system.
Each Analog Input Card card provides four channels of microphone/line level inputs, keeping a consistent channel density across the Soundweb London card range so that chassis I/O can be planned and budgeted predictably. Cards are hot-swappable within a properly powered-down chassis and are secured with captive screws for reliable long-term operation in installed sound environments.
By using field-configurable cards rather than fixed I/O, the Analog Input Card allows a single Soundweb London chassis to be adapted over the lifetime of an installation as requirements change, protecting the integrator’s investment in the core processing hardware while still allowing the physical I/O to evolve alongside the project.
