The Canton Reference 5 Walnut Matt is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to provide natural, lively, and highly detailed sound. Its curved, edge-free cabinet ensures both modern elegance and optimal acoustic performance, offering low-resonance operation and wide, uniform sound dispersion.

Advanced Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) diaphragms are used in the midrange and woofers. In these diaphragms, 25% of the aluminum structure is converted into ceramic and reinforced with tungsten and other metal particles, providing an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio and minimizing resonance. The TCC midrange diaphragm further stabilizes the membrane for precise, distortion-free sound. The bass guide system delivers evenly distributed low frequencies and allows flexible placement in medium-sized rooms.

The speaker features two 174 mm BCT woofers for controlled, deep bass, and a 174 mm midrange driver for authentic, detailed mids. A 25 mm aluminum oxide ceramic tweeter provides clear, smooth highs. Drivers are flush-mounted with round baffles and enhanced by Wave Beading technology to maintain smooth transient response, even at high volume.

High-quality WBT Nextgen terminals support single, bi-wiring, and bi-amping connections, with included gold-plated copper bridges for standard operation. Integrated Room Compensation (RC) allows precise level adjustments of the midrange and tweeter in 1.5 dB increments for optimal adaptation to room acoustics and personal listening preferences. The multi-layer laminate cabinet is finished in Walnut Matt, combining a refined, natural appearance with full acoustic neutrality.
