The Canton Reference 5 White Matt is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker engineered for natural, lively, and highly detailed sound. Its elegantly curved, edge-free cabinet ensures both modern aesthetics and optimal acoustic performance, offering low-resonance operation and wide, uniform dispersion.

Advanced Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) diaphragms are used in the midrange and woofers. In these diaphragms, 25% of the aluminum structure is converted into ceramic and reinforced with tungsten and additional metal particles, providing an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio while minimizing resonance. The TCC midrange diaphragm further stabilizes the membrane for precise, distortion-free sound. The bass guide system ensures even low-frequency distribution and allows flexible placement in medium-sized rooms.

Two 174 mm BCT woofers deliver controlled, rich bass, while the 174 mm midrange driver produces natural and detailed midrange tones. The 25 mm aluminum oxide ceramic tweeter provides clear, smooth highs. All drivers are flush-mounted with round baffles and enhanced by Wave Beading technology to ensure smooth transient response, even at high volumes.

High-quality WBT Nextgen terminals support single, bi-wiring, and bi-amping connections, and gold-plated copper bridges are included for standard operation. Integrated Room Compensation (RC) allows precise level adjustments of the midrange and tweeter in 1.5 dB steps to suit room acoustics and listening preferences. The multi-layer laminate cabinet is finished in White Matt, offering a refined, modern appearance while maintaining acoustic neutrality.
