The Crown DCi Series is a professional installation amplifier platform engineered for modern commercial and large-scale installed sound systems. Built around Crown’s proprietary DriveCore technology, the DCi Series combines high power density, energy-efficient operation, advanced installation flexibility, and reliable long-term performance within a compact rackmount format. Designed for professional system integrators, these amplifiers support demanding audio environments including hospitality venues, houses of worship, entertainment facilities, educational institutions, transportation hubs, and distributed commercial sound systems.
Available in multiple channel and power configurations, the DCi Series provides flexible deployment options while maintaining true rack density with up to eight amplifier channels in a compact 2RU chassis. Each channel independently supports low-impedance loudspeaker systems as well as constant-voltage 70V and 100V distributed speaker systems without requiring external step-up transformers. This direct-drive architecture improves efficiency, simplifies installation, and enhances audio quality while reducing overall infrastructure requirements.
The DCi Series also supports bridgeable channel pairs, including operation in high-voltage modes, allowing increased output capability for high-power applications such as subwoofers and large-format loudspeaker systems. Advanced cooling architecture utilizes variable-speed forced-air cooling to maintain thermal stability while minimizing operational noise and improving system reliability during continuous operation.
