JBL ASB6118 18-inch Subwoofer in white is a high-power, single 18-inch subwoofer system developed for demanding professional audio installations where deep, controlled bass response is required. It features one JBL 2242H SVG™ Super Vented Gap low-frequency driver measuring 460 mm (18 in) with a large 100 mm (4 in) voice coil. The front-loaded, vented enclosure design allows extended low-frequency bandwidth while maintaining high efficiency and low distortion at elevated sound pressure levels.

The cabinet is constructed from 16 mm (5/8 in) exterior-grade 11-ply Finnish birch plywood, offering excellent structural rigidity and long-term durability. The white DuraFlex™ finish provides a clean, professional appearance suitable for visually sensitive venues such as theaters, houses of worship, and performance halls. The design supports seamless integration with JBL AE Series mid-high loudspeakers, including AM6200 and AM4200 models, when used with optional PAF-2K planar array frame kits.

The FIR Tuning Set enables accurate phase matching with compatible full-range systems, ensuring consistent low-frequency alignment within complex sound reinforcement arrays.
