The JBL AW566-LS is a high-performance, lightweight 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed specifically for life safety applications. Part of JBL’s AE Series, it offers powerful audio, precise coverage, and durable construction for both indoor and outdoor use.
It features a 2265H 380 mm (15 in) Differential Drive® low-frequency driver with dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap technology for deep, accurate bass. The high-frequency section includes a 2432H 38 mm (1.5 in) exit, 75 mm (3 in) voice-coil compression driver, ensuring clear and intelligible sound.
The large Progressive Transition™ waveguide delivers precise 60° x 60° coverage, and its rotatable design allows flexible vertical or horizontal installation. The enclosure is constructed from reinforced hand-laminated fiberglass, finished in grey, for optimal low-frequency performance and durability. A three-layer 16-gauge stainless steel grille, backed with foam and mesh, protects the system in harsh environments.
Equipped with a 400 W 70/100V transformer and a heavy-duty U-type mounting bracket, the AW566-LS is ideal for life safety installations in sports facilities, themed entertainment venues, outdoor entertainment centers, and water parks. Origin of country mexico.
