The JBL Control 14C/T is a professional-grade two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker engineered for high-quality sound reinforcement in commercial and institutional environments. This model features a 100 mm (4 inch) high-output low-frequency driver with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround, delivering controlled bass response and long-term durability. High frequencies are handled by a 19 mm (0.75 inch) soft-dome liquid-cooled tweeter, ensuring clear vocal reproduction and smooth high-frequency detail across the listening area. The drivers are mounted in a vented, paintable black ABS baffle made from UV-resistant UL94-V0 and UL94-5VB flame-rated materials, making it suitable for demanding commercial safety standards.
An integrated formed-steel backcan provides structural strength, acoustic consistency, and full plenum compatibility, allowing safe use in air-handling spaces. The Control 14C/T supports both low-impedance 8Ω operation and 70V/100V distributed audio systems, giving system designers maximum flexibility. It delivers 30 watts at 8Ω and up to 25 watts through multi-tap transformer settings for distributed line applications.
With a wide 120° conical coverage pattern and a frequency bandwidth of 74 Hz to 20 kHz, the Control 14C/T ensures even sound distribution and clarity for background music, paging, and full-range audio in retail spaces, offices, hotels, educational facilities, conference rooms, healthcare buildings, and public venues.
