This ceiling speaker integrates a 165 mm (6.5 inch) high-output low-frequency driver constructed with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround, delivering deep, controlled bass response and long-term mechanical stability. High-frequency reproduction is handled by a 19 mm (0.75 inch) soft-dome liquid-cooled tweeter, providing smooth, detailed treble and excellent speech intelligibility. Both drivers are mounted in a vented, paintable black baffle made from UV-resistant UL94-V0 and UL94-5VB flame-rated materials, ensuring safety compliance and long-term durability in commercial installations.

An integrated formed-steel backcan ensures plenum-rated performance, structural strength, and acoustic consistency while enabling quick and secure ceiling installation. The Control 16C/T supports both low-impedance 8Ω operation and distributed 70V/100V systems, making it suitable for flexible system design in large-scale audio networks. It delivers 50 watts at 8Ω and up to 30 watts through multi-tap transformer settings for distributed line applications.

With a wide 110° conical coverage pattern, a frequency bandwidth of 62 Hz to 20 kHz, and a high sensitivity rating of 91 dB, the Control 16C/T provides powerful output, high maximum SPL, and consistent sound coverage across large listening areas.
