The JBL Control 16C/T is a high-performance two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker engineered for powerful, balanced, and intelligible sound reproduction in professional commercial environments. Finished in an architectural black color, it combines advanced acoustic engineering with durable construction and fast, installer-friendly mounting design, making it ideal for modern distributed audio systems.

This loudspeaker integrates a 165 mm (6.5 inch) high-output low-frequency driver built with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround, delivering strong low-end response, excellent durability, and long-term mechanical stability. High-frequency performance is produced by a 19 mm (0.75 inch) soft-dome liquid-cooled tweeter, ensuring smooth treble clarity, precise detail, and consistent speech intelligibility across large spaces. Both drivers are housed in a vented, paintable black baffle manufactured from UV-resistant UL94-V0 and UL94-5VB flame-rated materials for safety compliance and long-term reliability.

The integrated formed-steel backcan provides structural strength, acoustic consistency, and plenum-rated installation capability while simplifying ceiling mounting. The Control 16C/T supports both 8Ω low-impedance operation and 70V/100V distributed systems, offering flexible integration into a wide range of audio system designs. It delivers 50 watts at 8Ω and up to 30 watts via multi-tap transformer settings for distributed line applications.

With a wide 110° conical coverage pattern, a frequency bandwidth of 62 Hz to 20 kHz, and a high 91 dB sensitivity rating, the Control 16C/T produces high output levels with even sound distribution.
