The Control 26-DT is a compact ceiling loudspeaker transducer assembly engineered to upgrade or replace standard 8-inch ceiling drivers while fitting into existing backcans designed for 200 mm installations. This design allows system integrators to achieve higher audio performance without modifying ceiling infrastructure.

At its core, the Control 26-DT features a coaxial 165 mm (6.5-inch) low-frequency woofer with a long-life butyl rubber surround, paired with a 19 mm (¾-inch) titanium-coated high-frequency tweeter. This configuration delivers balanced sound reproduction with reduced distortion and consistent clarity across the listening area.

An advanced internal crossover network ensures smooth frequency transition between drivers, producing natural sound and uniform coverage. The integrated 60-watt multi-tap transformer enables direct connection to 70V or 100V distributed audio systems, making the unit suitable for large commercial installations such as offices, retail spaces, educational facilities, and public buildings.

The assembly is supplied complete with transducer, crossover network, and transformer, simplifying installation and reducing setup time. Its compact form factor allows it to mount cleanly within compatible third-party backcans, offering flexibility for retrofit and new installations alike.
