The JBL Control 26CT-LS is a high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for background, foreground, and life-safety sound applications. It features a coaxially mounted 165 mm (6.5 in) woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 19 mm (0.75 in) titanium-coated diffraction-loaded tweeter, delivering wide frequency response, high power handling, and low distortion for exceptional audio clarity. Certified to UL1480 UUMW, the Control 26CT-LS is suitable for fire alarm and emergency communication systems, making it ideal for commercial offices, airports, retail spaces, and other environments requiring life-safety audio compliance. Its 110° conical coverage allows for even sound distribution, reducing the number of speakers required without compromising performance.

The speaker is packaged with a white full-face grille, backcan, and tile rails to ensure fast, secure, and repeatable installation. Its robust design includes a formed steel backcan and medium-impact, UL94V-0 fire-rated baffle, supporting plenum applications safely. The included C-shaped support plate, cutout template, paint shield, and Euroblock connector further simplify the installation process.
