The JBL Control 30-2 is a robust two-way monitor speaker designed for indoor and outdoor use, offering clear, full-range audio with precise imaging and consistent coverage. Its combination of a 250 mm (10 in) woven fiberglass low-frequency driver and a JBL 2414H-C compression driver ensures smooth, high-fidelity performance suitable for commercial and professional environments, including retail spaces, theme parks, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The speaker features a 250 mm low-frequency driver with a 52 mm voice coil and a high-output 25 mm compression driver with a high-temperature polymer diaphragm. It supports 250 W in an 8-ohm thru configuration and includes a 150 W transformer for 70 V or 100 V distributed lines. The Control 30-2 provides a frequency range of 33 Hz – 19 kHz (-10 dB), 92 dB sensitivity, and a maximum SPL of 116 dB at 1 meter. The symmetrical 110° horizontal by 110° vertical coverage ensures even sound distribution over a wide listening area.

Built for demanding outdoor conditions, the Control 30-2 features WeatherMax™ protection, an IP-55 rating, and exceeds MilSpec 810 standards for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure. Its enclosure is made from high-impact polystyrene with 10% glass fill and a patent-pending internal 5 mm foamed polyurethane mold, while the grille is zinc-plated, thermoset composite-coated steel with multi-layer foam for added protection. InvisiBall mounting hardware is included, with multiple attachment points for optional U-bracket suspension, and a sealed input panel with screw-down terminals ensures secure connections. Optional accessories include a marine-kit grille, ceiling-mount adapter, and U-bracket. The speaker is manufactured in China.
