The JBL Control 30-2 is a two-way high-output loudspeaker designed for indoor and outdoor environments, delivering clear, full-range audio with extended bandwidth and consistent coverage. It combines high-power components, a woven fiberglass low-frequency driver, and a JBL 2414H-C compression driver to provide smooth frequency response, accurate imaging, and high fidelity performance suitable for retail spaces, hospitality venues, theme parks, and other professional audio settings.

The speaker is equipped with a 250 mm (10 in) woven fiberglass cone low-frequency driver with a 52 mm voice coil and a high-output 25 mm (1 in) compression driver with a patented high-temperature polymer diaphragm. The unit supports 250 W in an 8-ohm thru setting and includes a 150 W transformer for 70 V or 100 V distributed lines. It delivers a frequency range of 33 Hz – 19 kHz (-10 dB) with 92 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 116 dB at 1 meter. Its symmetrical 110° horizontal by 110° vertical coverage ensures even sound dispersion across a wide listening area.

Control 30-2 is designed for outdoor durability with WeatherMax™ protection, an IP-55 rating, and compliance with MilSpec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure. The enclosure is made of high-impact polystyrene with 10% glass fill and a patent-pending internal polyurethane mold, while the grille features zinc-plated thermoset composite-coated steel with multi-layer foam for additional protection. The speaker includes InvisiBall mounting hardware with multiple attachment points, a sealed input panel, and screw-down terminals for secure connection. Optional accessories include the MTC-30MK marine-kit grille, ceiling-mount adapter, and U-bracket. The speaker is manufactured in China.
