The JBL JRX218S 18″” compact subwoofer is a high-performance, portable low-frequency reinforcement system designed to provide deep, powerful bass for live sound, stage monitoring, and professional audio installations. Equipped with a massive JBL 18-inch woofer featuring a cast frame and a 3-inch voice coil, the system delivers precise, high-output bass reproduction with minimal distortion.

Constructed from 19 mm (0.75 in) MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) using advanced adhesives and mechanical fasteners, the rugged enclosure enhances low-frequency performance while ensuring long-term durability. The cabinet is covered in black carpet for protection and aesthetic appeal. The JRX218S includes non-resonant, all-steel handles for easy transport, and a heavy-duty 18-gauge perforated steel grille protects the woofer and internal components from damage.

For integration with mid/high loudspeakers, the subwoofer features a top-mounted 35 mm cast aluminum pole-mount receptacle, which can accommodate an optional SS3BK pole to elevate other speaker cabinets. With a frequency response of 53 Hz to 250 Hz and a maximum SPL of 133 dB, the JRX218S ensures consistent and impactful low-frequency coverage for live performances, concerts, and large venue sound reinforcement, making it an essential component for professional audio systems.
