The KX 10-A is a professional-grade compact active loudspeaker designed for high-output sound reinforcement in touring and installation environments where power, precision, and reliability are essential. It integrates advanced transducer technology with intelligent DSP processing to ensure consistent performance across a wide range of professional applications.

The low-frequency section is based on a 10-inch high-efficiency neodymium woofer with a 2.5-inch voice coil, engineered in a bass-reflex configuration for deep, controlled bass response, improved efficiency, and high thermal stability. The high-frequency section features a 1.75-inch PKX dome neodymium compression driver developed by RCF’s Precision Transducers laboratory, delivering lightweight rigidity, low distortion, and excellent clarity at high output levels. This driver is coupled with a rotatable 100° × 50° True Resistive Waveguide (TRW), ensuring uniform coverage and flexible dispersion for different deployment orientations.

Power is delivered through a two-channel 2000W Class-D amplifier system designed for high efficiency, low heat generation, and minimal distortion. Integrated DSP processing includes FiRPHASE technology for phase-linear sound reproduction and Bass Motion Control (BMC) for controlled low-frequency excursion and improved sound integrity under high dynamic loads. The RDNet networked control system enables real-time remote monitoring and configuration, offering full system visibility including temperature, limiter status, signal levels, and transducer performance.

The enclosure is built from rugged Baltic birch plywood with a weather-resistant polyurea coating for durability in demanding environments. Reinforced internal structure, machined aluminum heat dissipation, and high-strength steel rigging hardware ensure structural integrity and long-term reliability. With flexible mounting options including pole, flown, and ground-stacked configurations, the KX 10-A is designed for versatile professional deployment in both portable and installed systems.
