The RCF VSA 850 II vertical steerable array speaker system is designed for high intelligibility speech and background audio distribution in acoustically challenging environments such as transport hubs, auditoriums, houses of worship, and public buildings. It uses advanced digital beam steering technology to precisely control vertical dispersion, directing sound energy toward the listening area while minimizing reflections from ceilings and floors. This improves clarity in spaces with long reverberation times and ensures consistent coverage across distance.

The system integrates eight Class D 50 W amplifiers driving eight 3.5-inch neodymium full-range transducers, all managed by a high-resolution 48 kHz, 32-bit DSP engine. This allows precise control over beam angle, equalization, and system protection parameters. Horizontal coverage is wide at 130 degrees, while vertical steering ranges from 0 to –40 degrees, allowing installers to tailor coverage to architectural requirements.

With RDNet network compatibility, the VSA 850 II can be monitored and controlled remotely, enabling real-time system diagnostics, configuration, and optimization. Its extruded aluminum enclosure ensures durability, thermal stability, and discreet integration into architectural spaces.
