The JBL CBT 1000 White is an advanced adjustable-coverage line array column loudspeaker designed for spaces that demand precise acoustic control, clean architectural integration, and uniform sound distribution. Built on JBL’s Constant Beamwidth Technology™, this system applies sophisticated analog delay beam-forming and amplitude tapering to produce consistent vertical coverage while eliminating the irregular beaming, coverage gaps, and off-axis lobing common in conventional column speakers.

This high-performance loudspeaker integrates twenty-four 25 mm (1 in) extra-high-power soft dome tweeters with six 165 mm (6.5 in) high-excursion low-frequency drivers arranged in a coaxial configuration to ensure acoustic coherence, clarity, and high-output efficiency. Its asymmetrical vertical dispersion design projects more acoustic energy toward distant listening zones, creating balanced front-to-back sound levels throughout large rooms.

The CBT 1000 White offers a highly flexible vertical pattern control system with four “Pattern Up” and four “Pattern Down” angle selections, allowing sixteen unique coverage configurations without requiring external DSP processing. This makes it possible to accurately tailor sound coverage to seating layouts, ceiling heights, and architectural geometry.

The patented Tapered Horizontal Waveguide technology provides continuously variable horizontal dispersion—wider for near-field coverage and narrower for long-throw projection—ensuring consistent sound energy across both near and far listening areas.

With high SPL capability, deep low-frequency performance extending below 40 Hz, and switchable voicing modes optimized for speech or music, the CBT 1000 White is ideally suited for auditoriums, houses of worship, transport terminals, convention centers, performance halls, and large public venues. Its fiberglass-reinforced ABS enclosure, powder-coated aluminum grille, IP55-rated environmental protection (with optional cover), and precision mounting system make it suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor installations where reliability, performance, and aesthetics are equally important.
