At the core of the SR-X9000 is the innovative MLER-3 (Multi-Layer Electrodes) fixed electrode structure. This advanced four-layer configuration combines etched electrodes with metal mesh construction to achieve superior rigidity, reduced resonance, and highly accurate sound transmission. The redesigned non-parallel guard mesh structure minimizes internal reflections and controls reflection angles, allowing sound waves to move more naturally and improving overall clarity and transparency.

The enclosure is precision machined from aluminum to eliminate unwanted vibrations and maintain acoustic stability. A stainless steel arc assembly improves structural durability and provides a more stable fit during extended listening sessions.
