The VSSL SX Sync is a wireless transmitter that extends the SX Series surround sound ecosystem to work with in-ceiling or other third-party wired surround speakers, rather than requiring dedicated SX Speakers for the rear channels. This bridges the gap for installations where in-ceiling speakers are the preferred or only practical option for surround placement.

By wirelessly connecting an amplifier driving the in-ceiling speakers to the SX Soundbar, the SX Sync synchronizes audio between the two, ensuring the soundbar and the wired in-ceiling speakers play back in perfect time to create an immersive 5.1 or 5.2 surround sound setup for movies and music.

The unit transmits audio from a connected amplifier wirelessly to the SX Soundbar, while the same signal is delivered to the in-ceiling speakers via RCA connection from the local amplifier, keeping both signal paths aligned without the need for long audio cable runs back to the soundbar itself.

The SX Sync is specifically designed to connect only to the SX Soundbar, and is intended for installations where third-party in-ceiling speakers are preferred over the native SX Speakers, giving integrators an additional option for delivering rear-channel surround sound within the VSSL SX Series ecosystem.
