The JBL AW295 is a high-performance, 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for professional outdoor and indoor installations where durability and consistent sound coverage are essential. At the core of the AW295 is the JBL 2262H 300 mm (12 in) Differential Drive® low-frequency driver, featuring a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap architecture. This design provides high sensitivity, reduced distortion, and excellent power handling while maintaining a lightweight structure. High-frequency reproduction is handled by the JBL 2432H compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and a 75 mm (3 in) voice coil, delivering clear and articulate highs for music and speech reinforcement.

The loudspeaker utilizes a large Progressive Transition™ waveguide that provides controlled 90° x 50° coverage. The waveguide is rotatable, allowing the system to be configured for either vertical or horizontal orientation without compromising dispersion characteristics. The enclosure is constructed from hand-laminated fiberglass with extensive internal bracing to maximize low-frequency performance and structural rigidity. A durable black gelcoat finish enhances resistance to UV exposure, moisture, and corrosion.

The AW295 includes an integrated 400 W 70/100V transformer and a heavy-duty weather-treated U-type mounting bracket, enabling flexible installation on flat surfaces or in 90-degree corners.
