JBL Control 12C/T-BK 76 mm (3″) Full-Range Compact Ceiling Speaker
The JBL Control 12C/T-BK is a sleek black in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for high-quality background or foreground audio applications. It features a 76 mm (3 in) full-range driver with polypropylene cone, butyl rubber surround, Kapton™ voice coil former, and high-temperature aluminum coupling ring, delivering clear, low-distortion sound across a wide 130° conical coverage. The integrated zinc-plated steel backcan and ABS baffle with UL94-V0 and UL94-5VB fire rating provide plenum safety and durability. This model supports both 70V/100V multi-tap transformer operation and 8Ω low-impedance direct input, making it flexible for a variety of installation scenarios. Its shallow profile allows for quick mounting in ceilings up to 35 mm (1.4 in) thick using included dog-ears, with optional accessories extending fit for ceilings up to 55 mm (2.2 in).
The Control 12C/T-BK comes with a full-face black grille, C-ring support plate, tile rails, paint shield, cutout template, and removable locking 4-pin connector for fast and secure installation. Its combination of premium components, wide frequency response, and low distortion ensures immersive, high-fidelity sound for professional offices, retail, and hospitality environments.
