The JBL Control 14C-VA is a high-performance, EN54-24 certified two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker engineered for professional life-safety and commercial audio applications. This loudspeaker integrates a 100 mm (4 inch) high-output low-frequency driver with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround, delivering controlled low-frequency response and long-term mechanical reliability. High frequencies are reproduced through a 19 mm (0.75 inch) soft-dome liquid-cooled tweeter, ensuring clear speech intelligibility and smooth high-frequency detail across wide listening areas. Both drivers are housed in a vented, paintable black baffle made from UV-resistant UL94-V0 and UL94-5VB flammability-rated materials, supporting demanding fire and safety standards.

An integrated formed-steel backcan provides structural integrity, acoustic consistency, and full plenum compatibility, enabling safe installation in air-handling spaces. The Control 14C-VA supports both low-impedance 8Ω operation and 70V/100V distributed audio systems, making it suitable for flexible system design. It delivers 30 watts at 8Ω and up to 25 watts through multi-tap transformer settings for distributed line applications.

With a wide 120° conical coverage pattern and a frequency bandwidth of 74 Hz to 20 kHz, the Control 14C-VA ensures even sound distribution and consistent clarity for medium to high-volume environments such as retail spaces, airports, hotels, convention centers, educational institutions, lounges, courtrooms, business facilities, reception areas, and public venues.
