The JBL Control 45C/T Two-Way 5.25″ Coaxial Ceiling Loudspeaker is a premium professional in-ceiling audio solution engineered for applications that demand wide bandwidth, consistent coverage, and high sonic accuracy from a compact ceiling footprint. It is designed to deliver uniform sound distribution across large listening areas while maintaining minimal visual impact, making it ideal for commercial, corporate, hospitality, retail, and institutional environments.
This loudspeaker utilizes JBL’s exclusive conical Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI™) technology to provide extremely consistent 120° broadband pattern control. This ensures even sound dispersion, reduces hot spots and dead zones, and allows for fewer speakers to be used in an installation without sacrificing performance or coverage quality. The coaxial design integrates a 130 mm (5.25 in) polypropylene-coated paper cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 20 mm soft-dome tweeter mounted on a precision waveguide, delivering balanced full-range reproduction with extended bass performance down to 55 Hz.
The Control 45C/T supports both 8 ohm low-impedance operation and 70V/100V distributed audio systems, providing system design flexibility across a wide range of professional installations. It features an integrated formed-steel backcan for blind-mount installation, along with fire-rated materials and plenum-rated construction for safety compliance.
