The JBL All-Weather 8-inch 2-Way Coaxial Loudspeaker is designed for reliable outdoor and indoor sound reinforcement, offering high performance in challenging environmental conditions. Its IP56 weather-resistant rating protects the speaker against dust, rain, humidity, and UV exposure, ensuring consistent audio output in harsh climates. The loudspeaker provides a 120° x 120° broadband coverage pattern, making it suitable for distributed installations, background music, and paging applications.

Equipped with a 200 mm (8-inch) Kevlar-reinforced low-frequency woofer with a 50 mm (2-inch) voice coil and a 25 mm (1-inch) high-temperature polymer diaphragm compression driver, the system delivers exceptional clarity for speech and extended frequency response for music. The high-slope crossover network maintains constant coverage while providing smooth and natural midrange response. With 250W power handling (average continuous pink noise) and high sensitivity, the loudspeaker achieves high SPL levels while maintaining low distortion.

The speaker includes a high-power passive crossover network with overload protection and SonicGuard™ HF driver protection to safeguard against overload conditions. It supports direct 8Ω low-impedance connection or 70V/100V multi-tap distributed line operation for versatile installation. The enclosure, made of ABS with glass reinforcement, is heavily braced for durability and includes two M10 suspension points and an M6 secondary safety point for secure mounting. A corrosion-resistant, extra-thick steel grille with foam and poly mesh backing protects the drivers, while CE-compliant terminals with water-tight sealing ensure reliable connectivity.
