The JBL VRX915S 15 in. Bass Reflex Subwoofer is designed as a compact, high-performance low-frequency solution for professional sound reinforcement systems. Engineered for suspension and ground-stacked applications, this front-loaded, vented enclosure delivers strong, controlled bass response while maintaining a lightweight and manageable form factor.
The system is equipped with a JBL 2265G-1 15-inch Differential Drive woofer incorporating a neodymium magnet assembly and patented dual voice coil design. This configuration enhances heat dissipation, improves power handling capability, and reduces overall weight without compromising output. The bass reflex alignment extends low-frequency response down to 35 Hz, providing solid and impactful performance for live sound, touring, DJ systems, and fixed installations.
The enclosure is constructed from 15 mm to 18 mm multi-ply birch plywood and finished with a durable black DuraFlex coating for long-term reliability. A black powder-coated 16-gauge perforated steel grille, supported by acoustically transparent foam backing, protects internal components while preserving acoustic performance.
Integrated rigging hardware allows straightforward connection to VRX915S line arrays and optional array frames. Eight M10 suspension points enable flown configurations, while a top-mounted M20 threaded pole socket supports secure satellite speaker mounting. With compact dimensions and practical handling characteristics, the JBL VRX915S offers flexible deployment across a wide range of professional audio applications.
