The RCF HDL 12-AS active subwoofer is a high-performance, compact bass reinforcement system designed specifically to integrate seamlessly with the HDL 6-A line array system. It features a single 12-inch high-excursion woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, driven by a powerful 1400W peak Class-D amplifier. This allows the system to deliver deep, controlled bass response with a maximum SPL of 131 dB, ensuring strong low-end reinforcement in both small and medium-scale line array setups. The frequency response ranges from 40 Hz to 120 Hz, making it ideal for extending the low-frequency performance of HDL 6-A modules.

The integrated digital signal processing system includes a stereo crossover with selectable crossover points (such as 80 Hz and 110 Hz), high-pass filtering, EQ, limiting, and phase control for precise system tuning. A polarity reverse switch further enhances alignment flexibility in different configurations. The cabinet is constructed from durable Baltic birch plywood, ensuring acoustic rigidity and long-term reliability under demanding touring conditions.
