The KX 08-A is a professional compact active loudspeaker designed for high-performance sound reinforcement in both portable and installed audio systems. Engineered for clarity, power, and flexibility, it integrates advanced transducer design with intelligent DSP processing to deliver precise audio reproduction in demanding environments.

The low-frequency section is built around an 8-inch high-efficiency neodymium woofer with a 2.5-inch voice coil, optimized for strong bass response, high thermal stability, and extended dynamic range. The high-frequency section uses a 1.75-inch PKX dome neodymium compression driver, designed in RCF’s Precision Transducers laboratory, offering lightweight rigidity and excellent transient response. This HF driver is coupled with a rotatable 90° × 70° True Resistive Waveguide (TRW), ensuring consistent dispersion and flexible coverage for different installation orientations.

A two-channel 2000W Class-D amplifier powers the system, delivering high efficiency with minimal distortion and optimized thermal performance. Integrated DSP processing includes FiRPHASE technology for phase-linear sound reproduction and Bass Motion Control (BMC) for controlled low-frequency excursion and improved clarity at high output levels. RDNet network management enables full remote monitoring and control, providing real-time system diagnostics such as temperature, limiter activity, fan behavior, and transducer status.

The enclosure is constructed from rugged Baltic birch plywood with a weather-resistant polyurea coating for durability in touring and outdoor applications. Reinforced internal bracing, machined aluminum heat dissipation structure, and high-strength steel rigging points ensure mechanical reliability. Flexible mounting options, including pole, flown, and ground-stacked configurations, make the KX 08-A suitable for a wide range of professional audio setups.
