The RCF KX 45-A is a professional 2-way active loudspeaker engineered for high-performance sound reinforcement in demanding live, touring, and installation environments. It combines extreme output capability with precise directivity and advanced DSP control, making it suitable for applications where power, clarity, and reliability are essential.

The low-frequency section features a 15-inch neodymium woofer with a 3.5-inch voice coil in a bass-reflex design, delivering deep, controlled bass with high efficiency and strong dynamic response. The high-frequency section is driven by a 4-inch titanium dome compression driver mounted on a 100° × 70° True Resistive Waveguide (TRW), which can be rotated to adapt coverage to different deployment orientations. With a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 137 dB, the system delivers powerful, full-range audio performance.

The integrated 3200W peak Class-D dual-channel amplifier works in combination with advanced DSP processing, including FiRPHASE for phase coherence and Bass Motion Control (BMC) for controlled low-frequency excursion and improved sonic stability. RDNet network integration enables real-time monitoring, system tuning, and remote management across complex audio setups.

Built with a rugged Baltic birch plywood enclosure and protected by weather-resistant polyurea coating, the KX 45-A is designed for durability in professional environments. Its Quick Lock rigging system, M10 mounting points, pole-mount compatibility, and ergonomic handles allow flexible deployment in flown, stacked, or installed configurations.
