Built in a compact 19-inch rack-mountable chassis, it combines robust analogue circuitry with flexible routing and advanced signal processing tools.
The mixer provides eight high-quality mic/line input channels featuring balanced XLR/TRS connectors, each equipped with Allen & Heath’s renowned preamps delivering high headroom and low noise performance. These channels include individual inserts, direct outputs, and comprehensive control sections for precise mixing. Each channel also features a 4-band EQ with dual swept mid-frequency bands, allowing detailed tonal shaping across a wide range of sound sources.
The MixWizard4 12:2 includes six auxiliary sends, configurable as pre-fade, post-fade, or switched routing, making it suitable for monitor mixes, effects sends, and recording applications. In addition, it offers two full stereo return channels for integrating external effects processors or playback devices.
A standout feature of this console is its dual integrated FX engines with 20 high-quality presets, providing built-in reverbs, delays, and modulation effects without requiring external processing units. These effects can be blended directly into the mix or routed to auxiliary buses for flexible sound design.
The console also features 100 mm long-throw faders for precise level control, dedicated mono and master outputs, and a comprehensive metering system with tri-color 12-segment LED indicators for accurate signal monitoring. Additional features include a footswitch input for FX mute control, lamp socket support, and independent A-B output routing for versatile system integration.
