The Bose ControlCenter CV41 is a wiring accessory built to simplify installations that use several ControlCenter CC-1 zone controllers alongside a PowerShare PS602 or PS604 adaptable power amplifier. Rather than running each CC-1 controller directly and separately to the amplifier rack, the CV41 lets installers consolidate those runs through a single wall-mountable converter.

The unit provides five RJ-45 ports wired to the TIA/EIA 568B standard: four inputs dedicated to CC-1 controllers and one master output that homeruns back to the PowerShare amplifier. Depending on the amplifier model, the CV41 supports up to two CC-1 controllers when paired with a PS602, or up to four controllers when paired with a PS604.

Beyond simple homerun wiring, the CV41 also supports upstream daisy-chaining, meaning CC-1 controllers can first be linked to one another before connecting into the converter. This flexibility lets designers mix daisy-chain and homerun topologies within the same project to suit the building’s existing cable routes.

Housed in a compact enclosure suited to rack or wall mounting, the CV41 uses standard Cat-5 cabling throughout, keeping the installation consistent with the rest of a Bose ControlCenter and PowerShare system and avoiding the need for specialised wiring or additional power supplies at the converter itself.
