The Ecler VEO-XCTRLG2 is a controller module designed to manage and operate VEO-XTI1CG2 transmitters and VEO-XRI1CG2 receivers within large multipoint-to-multipoint video over IP systems. Rather than configuring each transmitter and receiver individually, the VEO-XCTRLG2 gives integrators a single point of control for the entire distributed video network.

Two dedicated LAN ports allow the controller to host independent Control and Video networks, keeping management traffic separated from the video streams themselves for more reliable operation in larger installations. This network separation reduces the risk of control commands interfering with video bandwidth, an important consideration as system size grows.

A dedicated web interface provides a setup wizard for easy project creation, assigning devices to a project with Auto, DHCP or Manual IP configuration options. Matrix control, smart videowall creation and operation, drag-and-drop source selection, and video preview are all accessible through the same interface, alongside TCP and RS-232 control commands for integration with third-party systems.

Security features including HTTPS, SSH and SFTP compatibility protect the management interface in networked installations, while PoE support simplifies power delivery to the controller itself. The VEO-XCTRLG2 is a practical addition to any VEO-XTI1CG2/VEO-XRI1CG2 deployment large enough to benefit from centralised management, video wall composition and simplified system commissioning.
