Ecler WPTI1CG2 wall panel video over IP transmitter
The Ecler WPTI1CG2 is a professional H.265/H.264 video over IP transmitter built into a wallplate form factor, designed for HDMI distribution over standard 1Gb Ethernet networks. It supports resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p, delivering high-quality video compression over distances of up to 100 metres using a single Cat 5e or higher cable, keeping the technical hardware discreetly built into the wall rather than sitting in a visible equipment rack.
Its wallplate design integrates an HDMI input, an RJ-45 port with PoE, and a reset button into a single elegant panel, making it well suited to meeting rooms, classrooms and hospitality venues where a visible, tidy connection point is important. Presenters simply plug an HDMI source into the wall panel, with the video stream automatically distributed over the network to the paired receiver.
Video over IP transmission supports both unicast and multicast distribution over a 1Gb managed network, with H.264/H.265 video codec compression achieving an average latency of around 100ms, low enough for responsive presentation use. HDMI support extends to 10.2Gbps 1080p 60Hz 4:4:4 as specified in the HDMI 1.4 standard.
Control and configuration are managed through the built-in WebGUI, or by pairing the WPTI1CG2 with the VEO-XCTRLG2 controller for centralised management across a larger system. This combination gives installers a clean, wall-mounted transmission point that integrates into the same video over IP ecosystem as the VEO-XTI1CG2 and VEO-XRI1CG2 extenders.
