Description
Description of PowerMatch Dante Network Card.
Bose Professional PowerMatch Dante network card
The Bose Professional PowerMatch Dante network card is a digital expansion accessory designed specifically for installation into compatible PowerMatch configurable power amplifiers. It brings Dante audio networking capability to the amplifier platform, allowing sound designers to distribute audio over standard Ethernet infrastructure instead of relying solely on analog wiring runs.
Once installed in the amplifier’s digital expansion slot, the card provides eight input channels of low-latency digital audio delivered over the Dante network from Audinate, alongside eight output channels that can be used for remote diagnostic monitoring. This two-way capability lets integrators both feed program audio into the amplifier and pull metering or troubleshooting signals back out from a central location.
The card includes a primary and a secondary Gigabit Ethernet port, giving installers flexibility in how the amplifier is wired into the wider network. The secondary port can operate in switched mode by default, or be reconfigured for redundant connections or filtered legacy hardware support, depending on the requirements of the installation.
Because the card is purpose-built for PowerMatch amplifiers, it integrates directly with Bose ControlSpace Designer software, where technicians can configure routing, monitor channel status, and manage the amplifier alongside other Dante-enabled devices on the same network. This makes the card a practical upgrade path for sites moving from analog wiring to a networked audio distribution model.
