The Canton Reference 2 White Matt is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker engineered to provide exceptional sound performance even in large listening spaces. Smaller than the flagship Reference model, it is ideal for reference-level stereo and home theater applications, combining advanced acoustic technology with a clean, modern design.

Its acoustically optimized cabinet features a seamless, edge-free construction that ensures minimal resonance and improved dispersion. Multi-layer laminate panels, internal bracing, and precise damping provide structural stability while maintaining low-resonance characteristics. The three-chamber cabinet design allocates optimal volumes for each driver, allowing full-range performance across lows, mids, and highs.

Low frequencies are produced by a dual 219 mm BCT woofer configuration, enhanced by the latest bass guide system for stable, controlled bass reproduction. The 174 mm midrange driver, positioned near the top of the cabinet, delivers authentic voice and instrument reproduction. High frequencies are reproduced by a 25 mm black alumina ceramic dome tweeter for clarity and detailed treble. All drivers are flush-mounted into a rounded baffle and complemented by three-dimensional asymmetric waveguide rings (POM) for precise dispersion.

High-precision crossovers with epoxy-glass composite and 70 µm copper conductors reduce interference and ensure accurate signal routing. WBT Nextgen terminals with gold-plated copper bridges allow single, bi-wiring, and bi-amping, while integrated room compensation enables fine-level adjustments in 1.5 dB increments.

Finished in White Matt with a smooth matte surface, the Reference 2 delivers a modern, refined aesthetic while reflecting Canton’s dedication to precise craftsmanship and acoustic excellence.
