The Ecler VIC8X is an in-ceiling loudspeaker delivering great sound performance for background music and paging applications. It features an 8-inch woofer and 0.5-inch steerable tweeter, 60WRMS @ 8 ohm nominal power, and a 70/100V line transformer with multiple power tap connections, giving installers flexibility to match the speaker to a project’s amplifier and wiring standard.

Its steerable tweeter allows the high-frequency driver to be aimed toward the primary listening area, improving intelligibility and coverage in rooms with challenging seating layouts or off-axis listening positions.

VIC series speakers provide excellent sound quality thanks to their infinite baffle philosophy and careful selection of components, offering an installer-friendly design that provides unparalleled speed and versatility of installation on any ceiling material.

The VIC series features a sleek, minimalist design with a magnetic grille that easily attaches to the speaker, making installation easy while also allowing the grille to be painted to match the decor of the space. This X version includes a back can and tile bridge anchors for false ceiling mounting, giving installers more flexibility and versatile installation choices, along with pressure clamp terminals for stripped cable.
