The JBL AC299 is a compact, professional 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for fixed-installation applications. Made in China, it is part of JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, offering reliable, high-quality sound with flexible installation for a wide range of spaces. This model is ideal for performing venues, clubs, houses of worship, multimedia facilities, retail and hospitality areas, presentation suites, and educational environments.
Equipped with a 310 mm (12-inch) low-frequency driver and a 25 mm (1-inch) exit compression driver with a 35 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, the AC299 produces precise bass, clear midrange, and crisp highs. Its 90° x 90° rotatable waveguide ensures even sound distribution both horizontally and vertically. High-slope passive crossovers reduce band overlap, providing smooth, accurate audio across the frequency spectrum.
The enclosure is constructed from 15 mm multi-ply hardwood plywood with a durable white textured finish for a professional look. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors with screw terminals ensure secure connections. Multiple M10 suspension points and rear inserts allow for versatile mounting using optional U-brackets, L-brackets, or wall-mount systems.
