The JBL AC26 is an ultra-compact, high-output 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in Mexico, it is part of JBL’s AE Compact family within the AE Series, offering precision audio, consistent coverage, and flexible installation in a space-efficient enclosure. This model is designed to meet the needs of system designers and performers seeking clear, reliable sound in small to medium venues.
The AC26 features two 165 mm (6.5-inch) low-frequency transducers paired with a 25 mm (1-inch) exit compression driver, providing accurate midrange and crisp high-frequency output. Its PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide delivers a 90° x 90° coverage pattern, ensuring even sound distribution and controlled off-axis performance. The passive crossover and FIR-style tuning optimize frequency and phase response, improving coverage consistency and sound quality across the listening area.
The enclosure is constructed from 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood with a black textured finish, providing durability and professional aesthetics. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and screw terminals allow secure and flexible system connections. Multiple M8 and M6 suspension points support mounting with optional U-brackets, OmniMount® brackets, or stand mount accessories.
The AC26 is ideal for performing arts facilities, theatrical sound design, auditoriums, houses of worship, live and dance clubs, sports venues, and themed entertainment spaces where compact, high-quality, and consistent sound reinforcement is required.
