Ecler IG108 in-ground weatherproof loudspeaker
The Ecler IG108 is an in-ground weatherproof loudspeaker with an omni-directional horizontal dispersion pattern covering a full 360 degrees. It is designed for music and message applications in outdoor areas where a reliable yet high quality sound system is required, such as theme parks, gardens, nature parks, and open urban spaces.
The cabinet mounts an 8 inch Kevlar woofer alongside a 1 inch ACCW silk dome tweeter, delivering a 100W RMS power handling with a 400W peak rating at 8 ohms. A multi-tapping line transformer offers 100V taps of 60W, 30W, 15W and 7.5W, plus 70V taps of 30W, 15W, 7.5W and 3.75W, giving system designers flexibility to balance sound levels across large distributed zones.
Because the IG108 disperses sound in a complete circle around the unit, a single loudspeaker can cover a circular area with an average radius of 4 to 6 metres in a standard application, reducing the number of units needed for even coverage across gardens, plazas, and pool areas. The IP65 rating protects the speaker against rain, dust, and humidity for dependable long-term outdoor performance.
A security ground bracket is included to keep the loudspeaker firmly anchored once installed below grade, and EASE simulation files are available to assist with acoustic planning. Finished in green to blend naturally into planted and landscaped surroundings, the IG108 has become a widely specified reference for outdoor distributed audio in leisure, sports, and hospitality environments.
