The JBL Control 30 is a versatile three-way loudspeaker designed for indoor and outdoor environments, delivering full-range sound with clarity, extended bandwidth, and precise coverage. Its compact enclosure integrates high-power components, computer-optimized horns, coaxial drivers, and a sophisticated network to ensure consistent performance across various professional settings such as retail spaces, hospitality venues, educational facilities, and leisure locations.
This model features a 250 mm (10 in) fiberglass/Kevlar low-frequency driver with a neodymium magnet, a 125 mm (5 in) anodized aluminum midrange driver with EPDM surround, and a 25 mm (1 in) titanium diaphragm compression driver for high frequencies. It produces a frequency range of 38 Hz – 17 kHz (-10 dB), with 93 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 123 dB at 1 meter. Its wide 120° horizontal by 110° vertical coverage ensures even sound distribution in a variety of spaces.
Control 30 is fully outdoor-compatible with WeatherMax™ protection and an IP-X5 rating, exceeding MilSpec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure. Additional features include SonicGuard® overload protection, sealed input panel, screw-down terminals, and the InvisiBall mounting system for flexible installation. Optional U-bracket and ceiling-mount adapters allow for customized placement. The grille is made of thermoset composite-coated steel with WeatherMax multi-layer foam for durability. The speaker is manufactured in China.
