The JBL Control 50S/T is a high-performance surface-mount subwoofer engineered to deliver deep, controlled bass for professional subwoofer-satellite audio systems. Designed for commercial and installed sound environments, it provides powerful low-frequency reinforcement while maintaining a compact and visually clean form factor for wall-mounted installations.
At the core of the system is a high-power 200 mm (8 inch) long-excursion driver featuring a robust high-mass cone for extended low-frequency response and enhanced bass authority. The driver incorporates a 38 mm (1.5 inch) four-layer copper voice coil for strong motor force, an aluminum former for improved transient response, and a rubber half-roll surround for controlled excursion and durability under high output conditions.
The Control 50S/T supports both low-impedance operation and selectable 70V/100V distributed line systems, allowing flexible integration into a wide range of audio installations. It is designed to operate with either two or four satellite speakers per system, providing scalable system configurations for different room sizes and coverage requirements.
With a frequency range extending down to 32 Hz, the subwoofer delivers solid, accurate low-frequency reproduction suitable for music playback, multimedia content, and background or foreground sound systems. Its structurally reinforced enclosure combines plywood, MDF, and metal components for acoustic stability and long-term reliability.
The system includes dedicated mounting hardware for secure surface installation and supports professional-grade connectivity for reliable signal distribution. Available in black or white finishes, the Control 50S/T blends easily into modern commercial interiors while delivering consistent, high-quality bass performance.
