The JBL Control 52 is a professionally designed satellite loudspeaker created for use in subwoofer-satellite audio systems where clarity, reliability, and space efficiency are critical. It is built to integrate smoothly with systems such as the Control 50S/T, Control 60PS/T pendant subwoofer, and Control 40CS/T in-ceiling subwoofer, providing accurate mid and high frequency reproduction while maintaining a compact and visually unobtrusive form factor.

At the heart of the Control 52 is a precision-built 60 mm (2.5 inch) low-distortion driver developed for consistent performance and long-term durability. The driver incorporates a secondary bucking magnet to improve efficiency, a rubber half-roll surround to enhance low-frequency response, and a 19 mm (0.75 inch) copper-clad aluminum voice coil mounted on a vented Nomex® former for improved thermal control and operational stability. A copper-capped pole piece ensures more stable impedance and supports extended high-frequency output, resulting in balanced and controlled sound reproduction.

When paired with a compatible subwoofer, the Control 52 delivers wide-bandwidth system performance, with crossover processing managed directly within the subwoofer unit. This configuration allows the system to operate in both low-impedance setups and 70V/100V distributed line installations. The design supports system layouts using either two or four satellite speakers per subwoofer, offering flexibility for different room sizes, layouts, and coverage requirements.

The included wall-mount bracket allows precise directional adjustment, supporting up to 45 degrees of off-axis positioning for accurate sound coverage. Its clean, low-profile enclosure design blends naturally into a wide range of architectural and interior environments, making it suitable for retail spaces, offices, hospitality venues, educational institutions, and commercial facilities.
