The JBL SRX915SF Single 15-inch Powered Flyable Subwoofer is designed to add powerful low-frequency reinforcement to SRX900 Series full-range sound systems. Engineered for rental companies, touring professionals, DJs, and fixed installations, this active subwoofer integrates amplification and DSP into a streamlined plug-and-play solution that ensures consistent global performance.
At its core is a 2276H 15-inch woofer utilizing JBL Differential Drive technology with dual 3-inch voice coils and ferrite magnet structure. This design enhances sensitivity, improves power handling, and reduces distortion while maintaining a compact and lightweight format. The system delivers a frequency response of 36 Hz to 90 Hz (-10 dB) and achieves up to 130 dB peak SPL, providing controlled and impactful bass performance.
The built-in Class-D amplifier supplies 1100W RMS and 2500W peak power, supported by advanced DSP that includes up to 2000 ms of delay, FIR-based correction filters, array size compensation, and user-adjustable filters. LevelMax limiting algorithms protect the transducer by managing excursion and thermal performance.
The reinforced birch plywood enclosure incorporates a large bass-reflex port to improve airflow and minimize turbulence at high output levels. Dual etherCON network ports enable system control via JBL Performance software over HARMAN HControl protocol. Additional features include a rear-panel LCD interface, integrated three-point rigging system, and an M20 threaded pole socket for versatile flown or ground-stacked configurations.
