The JBL SRX918SF Single 18-inch Powered Flyable Subwoofer is designed to deliver powerful low-frequency reinforcement for SRX900 Series full-range sound systems. Ideal for rental companies, touring artists, DJs, and fixed installations, this subwoofer integrates a high-performance 18-inch woofer, Class-D amplification, and DSP into a plug-and-play system for consistent global performance.

At its core is the 2279G-1 18-inch Differential Drive woofer featuring dual 3-inch voice coils and ferrite magnet design. This technology improves heat dissipation, reduces power compression, and increases sensitivity and dynamic range while keeping the system compact and lightweight. The SRX918SF provides a frequency response of 35 Hz to 100 Hz (-10 dB) and 45 Hz to 80 Hz (-3 dB) with a maximum peak SPL of 134 dB, producing clear, controlled bass for professional sound reinforcement.

The fully integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 1100W RMS and 2500W peak power, while the onboard DSP supports 24 user-adjustable filters, up to 2000 ms alignment delay, FIR-based throw-distance correction, and array size compensation. LevelMax excursion-control algorithms protect the transducer while optimizing output.

The enclosure is constructed from reinforced birch plywood with a large bass-reflex port to reduce audible turbulence and improve airflow. The SRX918SF features an integrated three-point rigging system, M20 pole socket, dual etherCON network ports, and rear-panel LCD for system configuration. Compatible with all SRX900 full-range speakers, this subwoofer supports

omnidirectional and cardioid modes and can be flown or ground-stacked in a variety of scalable configurations.
