The Soundcraft Si Performer 2 is a digital live sound console that adds a built-in DMX512 lighting interface to the established Si platform, allowing a single operator to control both sound and stage lighting from one control surface. The console provides 24 local recallable microphone preamps and eight stereo line inputs, with a total of 80 channels available to mix once expansion I/O is connected.

Two ViSi Connect option card slots offer up to 128×96 input/output paths, supporting MADI, Dante, CAT5 or optical MADI, BLU Link, Aviom A-Net, and CobraNet connectivity for integration with stageboxes and networked audio systems. Every channel includes a high-pass filter, four-band parametric EQ, gate, and compressor, all processed through Soundcraft’s 40-bit floating point EMMA DSP engine.

For lighting, the Si Performer uses its motorized faders, FaderGlow illumination, and console automation system to send DMX messages to external fixtures, effectively turning the console’s fader bank into a compact, automated lighting controller. This makes the console well suited to schools, churches, touring theatre companies, and conference productions that need to manage lighting cues without a dedicated lighting desk.

Twenty sub-group/aux busses, four FX busses fed by four stereo Lexicon effects engines, eight matrix busses, LRC mix busses, eight mute groups, and eight VCA groups provide extensive routing and mix organization. AES digital I/O, freely assignable insert loops, Harman HiQnet integration, and a color touchscreen interface round out a console designed to combine professional audio mixing with practical, integrated lighting control.
