The Allen & Heath CQ-20B Digital Mixer is the highest channel-count model in the CQ series, designed specifically for live performance, stage applications, portable productions, conferences, and recording environments. Each input channel can operate in either Quick Channel mode or Complete Channel mode. Quick Channels provide application-specific processing that allows users to configure an entire signal chain through simple controls, while Complete Channels offer detailed access to advanced processing parameters for precise sound shaping. The integrated Gain Assistant automatically sets optimal preamp gain levels and continuously monitors input signals to prevent clipping and unexpected level spikes during performances.
The CQ-20B incorporates Feedback Assistant technology that automatically detects and suppresses problematic frequencies using up to 16 filters per output, helping maintain clear sound reinforcement with reduced risk of feedback. Operating at 96kHz, the mixer delivers exceptional audio quality supported by studio-grade processing and four built-in FX engines featuring reverb, delay, and modulation effects.
Integrated dual-band Wi-Fi enables complete wireless control through the CQ MixPad application, allowing engineers to mix, monitor, and record from virtually anywhere within a venue.
